The Colorguard will be hosting a mum and garter supply fundraiser exclusively for the members of FMHS Band and Colorguard. The sale will begin on Monday September 20th, 2010 and run through Wednesday September 22nd, 2010 in the OLD BAND HALL from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm each night. Choose ribbons and various trinkets to create a special memory for your favorite Band, Percussion or Colorguard Student. Complete Homecoming Mums and Garters can be custom made BY REQUEST ONLY (see links below for order forms). There will limited quantities available and the offer is only available for a limited time (say that one five times real fast). All proceeds WILL benefit the FMHS Colorguard. The next Band Boosters meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 13th, 2010 at 7:00 pm in the FMHS Band Hall. ALL PARENTS are ENCOURAGED to attend! Band Boosters meetings are usually the first Monday of every month at 7:00 pm in the FMHS Band Hall. There are exceptions for holidays. Always check the FMHS band website calendar for the latest information. |

The new LISD application for volunteer background checks is now up and running. "All VOLUNTEERS MUST APPY FOR THE 2010 - 2011 SCHOOL YEAR TO VOLUNTEER IN THE SCHOOLS." Background checks are good for THREE (3) years. If you completed a check last year, you will still be cleared for the 2010 - 2011 and 2011 - 2012 school year.
