 Rob Myers was named the Director of Bands at Flower Mound High School in June 2004. He served as Associate Band Director from 2000 - 2004. His responsibilities include directing the Wind Symphony. He also teaches beginning Trombone and Euphonium classes at McKamy Middle School and also assists various ensembles at Forestwood Middle School.
Prior to accepting his position at Flower Mound High School, Mr. Myers was the Assistant Music Director for the Plymouth-Canton High School Marching Band while maintaining an extensive low brass studio.
Mr. Myers graduated from the University of Michigan in May of 2000 with a degree in Trombone Performance and Music Education. While at the University of Michigan he received instruction from H. Robert Reynolds, Kevin L. Sedatole, and James R. Tapia.

Brent Biskup was named Associate Director at Flower Mound High School in July of 2007. He began his teaching career in 2001 and has been with the Lewisville ISD (Independent School District) since 2004.
Mr. Biskup grew up in Denver, Colorado where he began playing the trumpet in 5th grade. Following in the footsteps of both parents, he chose to pursue a degree in music education. He attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where he studied trumpet with Terry Sawchuck and conducting with Allan McMurry. His interest in marching led him to DCI (Drum Corps International) and in 1998 he marched soprano with The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps. In 2004 he completed coursework at Southern Oregon University to receive a Master’s Degree in Music Education.
His teaching career began in 2001 at Arvada West High School in Denver, Colorado. His responsibilities were to oversee and run all aspects of the band program, as he was the only director. In 2004, he and his fiancé moved to Texas where he was named Assistant Director at Lewisville High School and she began school at Parker Chiropractic School. Dr. Amelie Biskup recently graduated and practices in the Flower Mound area. They are both excited to be in Flower Mound and look forward to many good years.

Michael King was named Assistant Director of Bands at Flower Mound High School in June of 2009. He began his teaching career in August of 2007. Before coming to Flower Mound, Mr. King was the Band Director at Leonard Middle School in Fort Worth, Texas. His responsibilities include directing one of the Concert Bands, one of the Varsity Bands, Jazz Band, assisting with the Marching Band, and assisting with both bands at Forestwood Middle School. Mr. King moved to Texas after completing his Bachelors Degree in Music Education at Michigan State University in May of 2007. While at Michigan State, he studied saxophone with Professor Joseph Lulloff and received instruction from Professor John Whitwell, Dr. Kevin Sedatole, Professor John Madden, and Dr. Isisah Odajima.

Associate Director& Coordinator of Percussion Activities

Matt Quinlan is Associate Director of Bands/Coordinator of Percussion Activities at Flower Mound High School. His responsibilities include directing all percussion studies from sixth through twelfth grades in the Flower Mound Cluster. In addition to teaching beginning percussion classes and percussion ensembles at Forestwood, Shadow Ridge and McKamy middle schools, he also directs the Flower Mound High School Drumline and numerous percussion ensembles.
Under his direction, Mr. Quinlan's bands and percussionists consistently have earned Superior ratings at University Interscholastic League Contests and All-State honors. Prior to his appointment at Flower Mound High School, Mr. Quinlan served as Associate Director of Bands at Mansfield High School and Clear Lake High School and Director of Percussion at Saydel High School.
Mr. Quinlan graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor's degree in Percussion Performance. He also holds a Master of Music degree from The University of North Texas. He serves as an active clinician and adjudicator throughout the Midwest and the state of Texas.
